More than 1000 meetings in the past 5 years and a lot of feedback!

Since venturing into entrepreneurship and based on my latest working habits, I've had more than 1000 one to one meetings with various people. From many of these, I've received some amazing feedback that helped both myself and my colleagues to reach this point
After all of this, I can now say there are two types of feedback:
Feedback that is important and Feedback that really matters! And the second one usually comes after a bank transfer! :)
To clarify a bit, I think it is really important to treat your customers differently and be more receptive and responsive to what they have to say!
Feedback is an essential part of any startup company's journey. It helps the founders and the team to validate their ideas, improve their products or services, and learn from their peers, customers and stakeholders. However, feedback can also be challenging to collect, analyze, and act on and also deceiving. Therefore, it is important to have a clear strategy and process for soliciting and using feedback effectively.
Now, the good thing about feedback is that when you will ask for it, you will receive it! ... The bad thing about feedback is that when you will ask for it, you will receive it!
People feel compelled to give their opinion no matter what. And in your professional career you can find the full spectrum: from reserved while really knowledgeable to very vocal but clueless to say the least. It is up to you on how to act and incorporate feedback in your profession and daily life
In my opinion here are some of my best practices for feedback collection:

- Define your goals and objectives: What do you want to learn from the feedback? Who are you targeting? How will you measure the results?
- Choose the right methods and tools: Depending on your goals and audience, you may use different methods and I personally looked for short f2f meetings.
- Ask the right questions to the right people: make sure your questions are clear, relevant, and actionable. Avoid leading or biased questions that may influence the answers
- Be respectful and appreciative; this one is very important. Thank people that spend time with you, no matter what
- Explain how their feedback will help you improve your business/ decisions
I would be happy to hear your thoughts and personal experiences and ... see you out there.

1 年Congratulations Vlad! Very interesting reflections and full of useful information. But I tell you the truth, most of all I enjoy reading 1000 meetings. If sigtree goes in the direction we know today, it is above all deserved by the ambition of all of you, who in recent years have sacrificed your time, free time, time with family and time for secondary passions ... to achieve the success that you wished. I am happy that so many meetings lead in a precise direction: "That of a great international success for a Romanian start-up." Country after country, arriving hopefully soon at 2000 meetings, but fortunately many of them with many people in several countries... Who will help us in a few years to write a second chapter full of reflections. sigtree Technologies #sigtree #propertymanagement #startups #proptech #performancemanagement
