Employee Delight fueling Trust based Performance and Growth
Organizations that scale up performance gridlines and firmly establish as powerhouses of best practices have one common thread. TRUST, a fuel often realized but missed moving it into practice mode is a desirable state. An organization aspiring to make its mark and wanting to sustain long term growth & a set of Happy People around need TRUST from its people. Sustaining practices which deliver trust at your employee’s doorstep time and again is the need of the hour.
As per the Great Places of Work report TM 2017, the places of work today are “Organizations where everyone feels heard, fairness reigns, social bonds are forged across boundaries like race and class, and people are inspired to reach new heights”.
Trust does not start by being in a default engagement mode, but has a very strong foundation rooted on feedback based on credible factors associated with reliability in actions, truth in conduct and honesty in approach. Employee trust is a game changer for organizations past, present & into the horizons of future, laced with High Technology aiding digital Trust & transparency.

From a higher vantage point most organization’s strive hard to enable a diverse talent environment, however the key to enabling an employee trust based system deriving strengths from diversity are those practices where a constant engagement of exists to extract knowledge leading from intellect to productive action on the ground, lest Diversity is a good showcase point of Power Points! Some organizations have workshops demystifying various kinds of Biases & enabling faster action, finer aspects to be aware of whilst collaboration, and eliminating inaction due to information overload and or lack of meaning in actions. Diversity leading to an amalgamation of diverse ideas sustained in action is a way forward! Mind you that not every organization with diverse structures have been able to augment diverse action leading to value creation!
· Culture:
Small steps taken to celebrate positive actions and outcomes form the principles of an Organisational culture. Sustenance of those practices are a key to deriving and strengthening it. This yields a tremendous long-term Organisational benefit. Be it as small as helping one another to succeed consciously or of practices as ringing a bell to announce great results. This foster and encourage a sense of oneness in employees to help strive for further achievements. Culture doesn’t eat strategy for breakfast but culture defines the strategy for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a long-term power packed performance in an Organisational life-cycle.
· Employee Experience:
Trust that is built by simply ensuring that the 8 odd hours an employee spends at an office is enabled with more and more smiles/wins for an employee ensures their experiences are worthwhile. This single-handedly triggers a wave of positivity in the environment and ability of teams to collaborate better. I call it the Human metric of enabling More Smiles Per Hour of employees engaged at work! This is only possible when the other three aspects of Culture, Digital environment which is transparent and a diverse atmosphere generating newer challenges are in unison. Experiences for the High Performing and the sustainable performer needs to be made conducive for giving in their best and beyond.

7 年Great read, agree that robust processes and practices form the spine of org culture which that intangible system that everyone breathes. But my only contention is I still believe "culture still eats strategy at breakfast" :)
