We had the opportunity to help another school to reduce their energy consumption through our CONTINEWM nets! It is non-other than?ESSEC Business School Asia-Pacific, a huge advocate of sustainability where our Founder, Brice Degeyter is an alumnus. It's a great feeling to partner with organizations with a common goal. As ESSEC puts it, their ultimate goal is "To create a global world that has meaning for us all."?Certainly, sustainability is a huge part of it.

To operate effectively, hotels need to spend a lot of money on energy bills. Not just money but it results in a high carbon footprint as well. This is why we are grateful to work with another big hotel company in Singapore, Somerset Bencoolen, part of CapitaLand Group and managed by The Ascott Ltd. We'll be able to help them reduce their energy consumption as we have just finished installing CONTINEWM nets in their facility helping them create a more positive impact on the environment through our sustainable energy-saving solution.

Lastly, we also had a successful CONTINEWN nets installation at Singapore Art Museum (SAM)! Indeed, it felt like performing the art of saving energy in the easiest, simplest and most sustainable way possible. This action is truly aligned with their vision which is to inspire humane and sustainable futures through transformative, thought-provoking and meaningful everyday encounters with art of our times.

Rajul Priyadarshini, Bizsu's workshops leader, was one of the speakers at Energy Colab Community Conference: Charting a Just (Energy) Transition for Singapore. The three panels touched on the different aspects of just transitions below:

  • How might we localise the concept of "just transition"?
  • How might we communicate energy and climate policies in an inclusive and equitable way?
  • How might we understand the impacts of just transitions in relation to land and beyond our borders?

This conference is powered by the National Youth Council (NYC) and the Young ChangeMakers (YCM) Fund.
