No hurry, no pause.
You don’t need to go through life huffing and puffing, straining and red-faced; you can get 95% of the results you want by calmly putting one foot in front of the other. One former Navy SEAL friend recently texted me a principle used in their training: 'Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.'

Today, I am creating a marketing strategy for a prospective client -- a company in the travel industry -- they plan retreats to build culture and incentivize team.
You see the travel industry is one of the most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Businesses are still on lockdown, and there's still a scare with being around a lot of people.
In other words, businesses will not spend money flying their team members to Bali, to incentivize them for a job well done this year.
Anyways, that's the problem of this prospect why he needs my help.
A marketing strategy plan that will create a system and control the influx of clients once this pandemic is over. After 6 months?
So I was doing my diligent research, for almost 3 days, to make sure there are no stones left unturned while I'm creating this marketing strategy plan.
When the strategy is simple.
I've felt like all my efforts and brain energy got wasted these last 3 days. But, it is worth it.
With this simple strategy, if all goes well, this would free me 80+ hours of workload for the first month of implementation and will only require me to work 15 hours per month after on this project.
And this will not only benefit me but this client as well:
- Less marketing budget spent (no paid ads)
- Consistent influx of leads is expected
- Deeper connections and relationships with clients built
- Strategically elevating the value of his offer (without being pitchy)
- Complexity in marketing tactics removed (less headache for him to piece together)
- more time for him to plan and scale his business
Since last month, removing things that will take a lot of my time has been my priority. And this serves me greatly.
The 80/20 Pareto Principle is widely recognized. Are you familiar with this?
The Pareto Principle is basically this:
Work less, achieve more. Do 20% of work that will generate you 80% output.
And I've known this principle since 2012, but just these last few months this principle resonated with me greatly.
I found out that simple 2 hours of work daily but consistently, has given me far greater results than 3 years working without a system leveraging different marketing strategies.
Conclusion?
Be sure to look for simple solutions.
If the answer isn’t simple, it’s probably not the right answer.
System creates simplicity. Smoothness.
No hurry and no pause.
In other words, a more predictable and consistent way of doing business.
All the best,

P.S Think about the time you are taking an exam -- board exam.
Review for a board exam takes 3-6 months (Engineering)
And possible questions on the exam will come from your 5-year lesson in college -- with some lessons not even discussed.
Professors in review center #1 advise: Review strategically.
You don't have the time to read all the lessons and bandwidth to memorize all formulas.
This is a good example of the 80/20 Pareto Principle.
Think of the 20% of work you can do that will generate 80% output.
Think and choose wisely where your time is spent.
