No more pleasing & appeasing

Dear women leaders,

You’ve got something important to say and the world wants to hear it. So, what’s stopping you?

You are capable of amazing things. Why are you wasting your time pleasing and appeasing, and working within a system that was built to keep you in your place? A system that aims to keep you quiet and well-behaved.

Who is defining your success? ?Who is making the rules and setting the expectations?

?

I AM interested in working with you on your Business English IF you

?

• are damn tired of being told (by men) how to dress, how to behave, when to smile, how to speak, and what to think of yourself

?

• want a better world for women of all shapes, sizes, ages, colours, abilities, and cultural backgrounds

• recognize what’s possible when we stop working within systems that were not made for us and find our own way forward

?

• want to see more women at all levels of leadership with real power and influence

?

• believe in the power of community and support

?

• ?recognize the importance of intersectionality and how it impacts women’s experiences differently

??

• ?are no longer interested in staying quiet and continuing to abide by the social rules and norms that keep women in their place

?

• ? reject the advice to "lean in" (Having it all at the same time is a recipe for self-destruction, not empowerment.)
• ? are selfishly putting yourself first
• ? know there is a better way forward that isn't patriarchy or colonialism
