No More Overeating: Four Low-Carb Breakfasts You Can Try

No More Overeating: Four Low-Carb Breakfasts You Can Try

Many people prepare a breakfast consisting of a greasy concoction that drips with oil from every bite with loads of bread or bagels. This type of breakfast tends to encourage overeating, to the detriment of our stomachs and health.

I know how tempting it is to eat a greasy burger or gorge into some oily fries, but you may want to start taking care of yourself at some point, or else these overeating sprees will do nothing but fatten you up.

Our morning routine can mean a lot for how we go about our day.

I want to share a better way to get delicious nutrition from the food you eat without falling into the trap of overeating.

Here are some appetizing low-carb breakfast meals that you can make for yourself and for your family, to ensure that you only eat the right amount of food, and that you are getting the right nutrition into your body to keep you healthy and strong.

Eggs and vegetables cooked in coconut oil

If you are trying to hack into reducing your overeating nature, the best way to do that is to focus on vegetables.

Some vegetables can go well with pretty much any kind of meal, and as a main course, can be filling without being detrimental to your health.

You can toss in a variety of different vegetables (but the green and leafy ones, like broccoli and spinach, are recommended) in a pan with coconut oil. Then you add three or four eggs and mix it up together, making sure to add spices in your meal (salt, pepper, and other spices you may have) to ensure a delicious breakfast.

And you stir fry it all until it is ready.

Voila! Enjoy some healthy food.

Skillet-baked eggs with spinach and yoghurt

If you are looking for a breakfast with a more kick for your taste buds, here is something that your palate may enjoy: skillet-baked eggs with spinach and yoghurt.

Because it is baking-based, you don’t need any additional oils or fats to prepared your meal. Instead, pre-heat the oven to 300°F. Then, combine the yoghurt, garlic, and a pinch of salt in a bowl while you melt a little coconut oil in a skillet.

Then, in the coconut oil skillet, add spinach, leek, scallion, and lemon juice while you sauté and stir occasionally.

You then remove the skillet from the heat, crack several eggs into the veggie mix, and bake for 10-15 minutes. Then top it off with the yoghurt mixture before serving.

In Italy they have a fancy name for it: Frittata!

Low-Carb Pancakes

Overeating can get to the best of us, so maybe an easy-to-cook, diet-friendly batch of pancakes can be your new breakfast favorite.

But not just any pancakes! These pancakes are low in carbs, and you can enjoy them without indulging in sugar or any undesirable foods.

Pancakes that are healthy for your body as well as your soul!

First, you need 2 oz of cream cheese, 2 eggs, 1 tsp of granulated sugar substitute, and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. You then blend all of these ingredients together, let it rest for a bit (so that air bubbles won’t form in your pancake), and cook it on a pan set on medium heat for 2 minutes for each side.

And there you go: guilt-free, low-carb pancakes that you won’t need to worry about overeating.

Chia Pudding

Finally, something that can be filling for yourself is chia pudding. An easy-to-create dessert for yourself, chia pudding can also serve as a delicious and filling low-carb breakfast for you.

Chia seeds can be healthy for your body, and a chia pudding puts that healthiness with a delicious demeanor to match your mood.

All you need is to put 1/4 cup of chia seeds, 1 cup of non-dairy milk, and 1/2 tbsp of coconut sugar in a bowl. Mix it well and refrigerate overnight till the seeds become jelly-like and the pudding has thickened.

And for a final piece to make your pudding complete, top it off with some fruit of your choice.

Overeating is a terrible thing, one that pushes our body into a worse corner when it comes to how we express ourselves and our relationship with food.

Gourmandism and hunger are things you can control so that you develop a healthy relationship with food for the rest of your life.
