Is more money the solution?

Is more money the solution?

Been reading Rich Dad Poor Dad by Ryan Kiyosaki and it has been nothing short of eye opening. All these while, my mind had been on more money being the solution to a lot of things in my life and that of close friends. But reading the book has changed that mindset and view.

Of course money is important but it is not really the solution. A lot of us feel we will be happier when more money comes or we will begin to invest when we get that big job or opportunity; but we soon realize it is an illusion. You realize that the more the money the more the problems and liabilities to take care of.

More money is not always the solution; the solution is discipline. How do you use the little money you get presently? How you use it says a lot about how you will make use of that big money you expect or hope for. What is the assurance that you will use the more money well when it comes? If you cannot do well with little money then do you think you will do well with more money?

Do you think more money is the problem or the problem is that you are not disciplined enough towards your finances? For me, I am not disciplined enough towards my finances.

I hope this helps someone. Have a good day

Money alone can't solve your financial problems... You need to develop your financial iq.. Nice one Oche Maria Faustina

First of all, allow me to describe what money is in my understanding and according to my book under publication right now. Money is a mere paper that gets attracted to where ideas first emerge. When someone begins to earn more of it, it should not shift the normal reasoning of anyone but to be considered as an advantage to expedite in resource management. Money should not be the root cause of problems but poverty can be. Further, money can not be a solution to financial problems but ability to manage our self descipline and character can be.
