More Mixed-Use in Doral

Mixed-use developments are popping up all over South Florida, and the city of Doral is certainly no exception. With highly anticipated projects like Midtown Doral, Downtown Doral and CityPlace Doral quickly becoming a reality, residents will soon be able to live, work and play right in their own community. Recently, the Doral City Council approved plans and made the necessary zoning changes to allow yet another mixed-use development to be built in the city. The Sanctuary Project will be located on Northwest 41st Street and 94th Avenue if one more zoning issue is successfully addressed at the next council meeting. However, much controversy is surrounding the project, and some residents are even working to stop the developers in their tracks.
