Be more like children when learning new things!

Be more like children when learning new things!

When was the last time you approached a task at work like children approach learning something new?

Many of you are familiar with the exercise of building the highest possible structure with the use of a few spaghetti straws, a marshmallow, and some tape. Children usually win over adults since they skip all the parts of internal group politics, strategy and planning and so on. They usually don't care about who does what. They focus much more on exploring.

The children might argue while trying, and they might have some friction in the makings, but they focus on the doing which should be the key ingredient for all of us.

While the children keep trying and learning from every mistake, they become smarter and better from every attempt.

The adults however might find themselves too many times still planning and trying to find a compromise or consensus for pretty much everything. ?

If you want to learn more and faster than the others. Be more like children!

Disclaimer – Be aware of the kind of problem you need to solve before you go all playful. Not everything is as harmless as building spaghetti-towers.?
