More: Lessons from the Incline

More: Lessons from the Incline

As a quick recap as to the genesis of this project, a good friend, West Point classmate, and Army buddy and I decided to embark on a year-long physical challenge in the mountains of Colorado. We decided to hike/climb the Manitou Incline every week for a year and also make the attempt to go from the first step to the last (2768th) step in under 30 minutes. We are going on our 3rd year now. Over this period of time, I gathered lessons that I found were applicable to life, business projects and goal setting and compiled them into a self-published book, "Lessons from the Incline."

Over the last 4-5 months, many of the readers of this book shared with me that they enjoyed using it as a daily devotional or daily meditation—reading and reflecting on one lesson every day. Those of you who have ordered and read the book know that there are only 20 lessons in the book--not enough for every day of the month.

I had several additional lessons that I did not include originally but have been banging around in my head so I'm getting them down and sharing them here with you.

I plan to post 11 more lessons here over the next few months.?I would love your feedback and critique as these come out.

Check out my book, “Lessons from the Incline” available here: https://lnkd.in/gwma-ptF

Jamie, I may be a hammerhead, but I can't see a link to subscribe specifically to the newsletter. What am I missing?

Jamie, thank you for sharing your wisdom. In this post you missed a word in the last sentence to complete it more fully. You missed the word “Please”. It’s always very very very very important to be kind. ??. “Lessons from the Incline” is very good read folks!
