NO more FEAR

I rarely share personal stories but someone asked me why I didn’t share my recent experiences and how it relates to my career path. After careful consideration, I’ve decided to post.

I’ve spent the first 50 years of my life LIVING IN FEAR; fear of heights and closed, dark places (claustrophobia) and FEAR has always been in the back of my mind whenever I go to make a major life decision or a career decision. I made a commitment when I was turning 50 to STOP letting FEAR control me.

So first… I scheduled and actually took a helicopter ride over Downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan.

Then… I planned a trip to Louisville, KY with one goal: to go to a place called The Mega Cavern ( #megacavern ) where I actually went 200 feet underground yet 100 feet above the bottom surface in a Limestone Cave and went Ziplining not once, but on 6 separate underground ziplines and two (barely) rope bridges with no way to turn back.

These experiences have changed me. I no longer allow FEAR to prevent me from experiencing anything; both personally and professionally.
