Many thanks to the Genshagen Foundation for inviting me to deliver the keynote speech at the Weimar Triangle Roundtable Discussion, jointly organised with the Fundacja Wspó?pracy Polsko Niemieckiej at Genshagen Castle on 3-4 July! The event's theme was particularly topical: 'More Europe, Less Europe, Better Europe? Rethinking the Future of the European Union. Germany, France and Poland Between Diverging National Interests and Common European Responsibilities'.
My keynote speech was entitled: 'A New Start for European Economic Integration and Beyond - What does Emmanuel Macron's Victory mean for the EU's Future?'
The event was a great opportunity to debate with German, French and Polish experts about the renewal of the Franco-German alliance and the future of our joint European project.
