More Coal For Our Children

The Child Foundation office in Mazar-e-Sharif continued delivering coal packages to the children you support. The winter in Afghanistan is colder than usual and the fierce winter weather has caused the death of more than 40 people. Many expect the number will rise as most live in poor conditions in mud houses with plastic tarpaulin roofs. Services are extremely limited and often absent altogether. It is very difficult for families to purchase necessary firewood, clothing, and other essential winter items.
