• Simplified registration: No need to register with local grid operators. Instead, all that is required is registration in the Federal grid Agency's market master data register, but this process will also also be significantly streamlined.
• Relaxation of construction product regulations: Balcony power plants are no longer considered construction products. This removes previous restrictions such as the overhead glazing rule and the 2 square meter limit for modules. Larger installations over 4 meters high are now also permitted.
• More funding Programs: Many cities, municipalities and federal states have special funding programs for solar systems, especially after solar pack 1.

These changes are intended to make the operation and installation of balcony power plants easier, reduce bureaucratic burdens and make the use of solar energy more attractive.
