When I first saw some posts from Laura, I saw this confident, bubbly person who when she speaks every stops and listens. It's easy to imagine that it's always been this way with Laura, someone who is proud and confident in her own body.
I was shocked to hear that it wasn't. I imagined tough times in school and growing up, so my interview starts here. We discuss how her friends knew and supported her, issues doing normal things like PE and sleeping over at friends houses. Then there was the first time someone saw her head.
A lot of what we speak about is subjects closely knitted around the Alopecia like her mental health, like social circles, oh and get this - what the doctor blamed it on !!
Above is Laura's Linkedin banner. She is such an inspirational figure on social media, but not just to people with Alopecia or disabled, but very inspiring in general. A lot of what she speaks about can be transferred to other areas of life.
