More of this in 2023: things recruiters and jobseekers should add to their wish list
This week's article will be short and sweet. At the beginning of the year I took some time to reflect on what we do for a living, why we do it, and what we can accomplish as recruiters and job seekers.?
There are three main reasons why I fell into recruitment 5 years ago. First - I couldn’t afford to complete my law degree after my Bachelor Arts Degree. Second, my mentor?was a full-desk recruiter for an executive search firm - I figured if he could do it, so could I. Third, I’ve always valued people and getting a job that put that at the forefront was always my dream.?
So - this brings me to my 2023 wish list for us as recruiters and jobseekers:
Upskilling
Networking

Mentorship
As we all make plans for 2023 I’m sure our careers are front of mind. Like I did at the beginning of the year I encourage you to pause and reflect on what matters to you as a recruiter or jobseeker and if you already have, best wishes for the year ahead.
