More 2016, more creative & digital talent needs..
Recruitment in Q3 was strong across the insurance market in Singapore as well as across the region. Particular areas of focus were product development, risk and once again Digital/Transformation remains a strong growth area.
A shortage of talent, particularly with regards to product development, has led to us scouring the region for talent more broadly. This activity has once again strengthened our relationships across Asia Pac with our clients and candidates.
As well as searching the region more broadly, I’m receiving more and more requests to tap into our networks in the e-commerce/creative agency spaces as insurers start to feel the need to bring in these skills from more mature digital businesses to enhance their marketing, digital and innovation capabilities.
We now move towards the end of the annual planning exercise (I can hear your sigh of relief while reading this). Leaders will once again resume hiring with their new structures in place post planning cycle, an interesting time of year for some reflection before pushing on to end the year strongly.
