Accenture is a leading global company providing strategy, consulting, digital and technology services and solutions.
Let’s dive into the world of augmented reality with Accenture Baltics creative technologist Maxim Velichkin by exploring how he created effects for his team’s get-together event. Maxim's idea was to harness the popularity of social media effects and the element of randomness to develop an engaging experience that brings your thoughts to life in a thought bubble above your head, adding a touch of comic book charm.

To start, I used Midjourney to generate thought bubble images.?
I refined these initial images by removing unnecessary elements like extra characters and backgrounds, opting for a clean white bubble that blends seamlessly with Accenture's color palette. I also incorporated the Accenture logo into the bubble design, adjusting its shape for a natural fit.
My colleague Aleksejs Romanuks experimented with the capabilities of ChatGPT to generate inspiring text for the thought bubbles. This AI-powered tool proved to be a time-saving asset, streamlining the process of generating text.
Next, I adapted each phrase to fit the thought bubble's dimensions. By separating the thought bubble as a standalone image, I managed to reduce the overall image size, resulting in a more efficient experience.
Bringing an extra touch of whimsy, I animated the cloud by programming it to follow the user's head movements with a slight delay. This created a lively and cartoonish effect, enhanced by the addition of post-processing sun rays that accentuate positive vibes. The cloud adds a playful element to the overall experience.
The effect is triggered when users smile or open their mouths. A series of text images quickly transitions on screen until it randomly settles on one. The cloud remains briefly visible before fading away, ready to be activated once again.
