Do you want to find and save pieces of art and other culturally important items on the battlefield like the movie “The Monuments Men”?
U.S. Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) is the only Army Reserve unit that allows you to achieve this military occupational skill. It is called the 38G MOS, a Military Government Specialist with a special identifier in “archivist” 6W. Just like the movie, having the 6W identifier will allow you to archive important artifacts before they are potentially bombed or stolen by a rogue regime.?
In addition to the 6W identifier, the Military Government Specialist has many different identifiers that you may be interested in as well. These are all high-level expertise positions. For example, for a 6D (Education), we are looking for someone who has experience as a superintendent.?

Minimum qualifications:
· ? ? ? ? Be a U.S. citizen
· ? ? ? ? Master’s degree from an accredited university associated with the ASI
· ? ? ? ? Minimum of 48 months of work in the ASI after receiving the master’s degree
· ? ? ? ? Pass an Army medical physical and meet basic fitness standards
· ? ? ? ? Be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance

2 年Gentleman and Ladies I love this part of our CA History, but across the CA Spectrum of education at our PME Schools it has become the bane of our existence. There is almost a pathological or willful ignorance to teach about access and placement and raw human and population manipulation that makes us relevant to maneuver and SOF Forces which was very different from what i was taught in CA School as an enlisted man or as an Officer. Compared to what I learned about CA as part of ILE and IO School and at the Joint Planning Level i operate at now. It was night and day like there was a decision to forget that part somewhere along the way. Please don't misunderstand i love our history and the humanitarian work we do but that's not why we were created. just my two bits.
