Leadership Reinforcements in 2023
In 2023, we invited some of the biggest names in tech, digital health, and human resources to join us as executives and board members. They’re already making big changes and helping Newfire deliver even better services in less time, at lower risk, and at lower cost. Here’s who they are.
Sonali Damle, Chief People and Transformation Officer
Earlier this year, we welcomed an experienced human resources leader to help us better organize our team structures and turn team leads into true leaders through focused and tailor-made learning and development Initiatives.
Sonali Y. Damle has a proven track record in successfully scaling talent in growth-stage companies. She brings with her a wealth of experience from her leadership and advisory roles at Innovacer and the Forbes Human Resources Council to ensure Newfire’s talent is always learning and innovating as they take on the challenges of 2024.
Francisco Alba, General Manager for LATAM
Shortly after Sonali, we onboarded Francisco as General Manager for Newfire’s fastest-growing region in 2023: LATAM. With team members in 14 countries of Central and South America, and the Caribbean, it was high time to bring on a leader to take over operations in this region.
Francisco has led operations and service delivery at tech industry giants the likes of Hewlett Packard, Proctor & Gamble, and Experian, which makes him the ideal candidate for the job. We’re lucky to have him on our team.
Will Crawford, Chief Technology Officer
In 2023, we’ve devoted a lot of focus to putting customers at the heart of our operations. We strive to develop solutions that fit client needs, budgets, and timelines, as well as ensure their solutions solve real problems in today’s markets. Our plan is to redouble those efforts in 2024.
Enter Will, our new CTO. Will’s 30-year career has been dedicated to changing lives through digital health innovation as a founder, executive, and investor. He was a part of the team that delivered one of the first electronic health records applications, and he helped Fitbit take over the world of fitness as an early investor and, later, VP of engineering.
Laurie McGraw, Independent Board Director
Finalizing our 2024 leadership roster, Newfire recently inaugurated Laurie McGraw as our newest board member. Laurie has taken on many roles during her 30-year career: from digital health executive to Forbes Technology Council Member. She has grown startups into billion dollar enterprises as well as taught others to lead in TEDx speeches and her own podcast dedicated to women and leadership.
Laurie’s appointment aligns with our commitment to advancing digital health through a blend of advisory expertise, AI, and top-tier talent. With her and the rest of our new leaders on board, we’re ready to take on any challenge in 2024 and deliver even more innovation for our clients.
