How about building your own AI-powered assistant with a little help from Microsoft? During this year's Build conference, the company introduced Azure AI Studio, a new capability within the Azure OpenAI Service that empowers customers to combine a model like OpenAI’s ChatGPT or GPT-4 with their data. The platform incorporates a range of capabilities to facilitate the development process. It provides a user-friendly interface allowing developers to design conversational flows, define intents, and execute dialogue models effortlessly. It supports training, fine-tuning AI models, and integrating various applications and services easily.
Azure AI Studio democratises AI development, simplifying the process for developers by providing tools, pre-built models, and integration options. Microsoft enables the creation of AI copilots tailored to specific needs. With this platform, developers can enhance user experiences and productivity by building intelligent conversational agents.
In recent months, a circulating thesis on the Internet, particularly within the education sector, suggests that students may exploit AI technologies like ChatGPT to cheat on their assignments, resulting in a destructive impact on their learning and ultimately undermining the entire education system. However, what if we shift this perspective and consider the potential of AI at the forefront as the most significant and positive transformation education has ever witnessed?
Sal Khan, founder and CEO of Khan Academy, believes that artificial intelligence has the potential to ignite an unprecedented positive transformation in education. He envisions numerous opportunities for students and educators to collaborate with AI tools, such as the possibility of having a personal AI tutor for each student and an AI teaching assistant for every teacher. During a demonstration, he showcases exciting new features of Khan Academy's educational chatbot, Khanmigo.

Achieving successful innovation, competitive advantage, and long-term thriving is challenging without the appropriate culture. When examining business history, it becomes evident that a company's success heavily relies on its culture. Therefore, if you aspire to guide your organisation towards a future that incorporates Generative Artificial Intelligence, it is crucial to cultivate the right culture to support it.
“In Deloitte, for example, we have something called “Trustworthy AI framework”, and by its very nature, it’s a framework. It gives a set of guidelines, protocols, and methods in terms of what to think, when and how to apply these methods. Every organisation also has to make sure that employees are culturally sensitive to applying it in a responsible manner.”, says Nitin Mittal , a principal with Deloitte Consulting LLP.
In the HBR IdeaCast podcast episode, editor Amy Bernstein discusses effectively and ethically adopting Generative AI within an organisation with two experts, Nitin Mittal and Tsedal Neeley. How do great leaders respond in a crisis? A must-listen podcast ft. Brian Chesky, CEO of Airbnb
“[..] it was January 2020. I thought my life was going down a certain road, and I could predict it. We were a 30 billion company waiting to go public. And then, all of a sudden, within eight weeks, we lost 80% of our business. You can learn a lot about people in a crisis, and I think the person you learn the most about is yourself.” Brian Chesky , CEO of Airbnb, says at the Masters of Scale Summit in San Francisco.?
Following Airbnb's Brian Chesky successfully navigating the company through a critical period, he engages in a conversation with Rapid Response host Bob Safian. They delve into Chesky's valuable insights gained from experience. The key message is the importance of having the courage to make challenging decisions. When you possess a well-defined philosophy for running your business, tough choices become at least more straightforward, if not entirely easy. To effectively handle a crisis, all of us must anchor ourselves to core principles and approach decision-making through that lens.?
