Monthly Recap: March events and activities at DAC.digital

March was a month full of various activities and events where we could share our knowledge and expertise. Conference in the US, meeting with students, podcast, and more - check out our recap of March!

MEMEX Conference US 2023

On march 23rd, DAC.digital was present at the Memex Conference US 2023. This year's Memex's main theme is Meaningful Attention and includes leaders from various industries and fields, such as market research, social media, and entertainment.

Krzysztof Radecki Radecki, CTO of DAC.digital, together with? Jay Schweid , CEO and founder of? ephelants ?and? DAC.digital 's Board Advisor, discussed the importance of meaningful attention and gaze estimation in their presentation "F???CUS – Putting a lens on what drives audience engagement." We could also hear various perspectives on attention in modern media from others experts.??

PG Network #TECHmeetup

On 30th March, Damian Derebecki , our COO, was a speaker at the PG Network #TechMeeting It's an informal meeting of representatives of the IT industry: students, members of scientific circles and student organizations, business representatives, and academics. The event was accompanied by loose, spontaneous speeches on the theme of "IT Trends Talks" as well as networking to get to know and establish business contacts.

During the event, Damian discussed an unusual topic in his presentation: "Beauty engineer: how to conquer the cosmetic market while operating in the IT industry, all thanks to studies at Gdansk University of Technology?" He talked about our DeepTech projects and R&D activities.

DACtour in Warsaw

Even though work at DAC.digital is remote, we always find a way to integrate. At the end of the month, our team gathered at the first-ever DACtour meetup - a series of meetings in different cities that seek to bring together members and allow them to get to know each other better.

We started a tour in Warsaw. This was the first time we worked together beside our HQ in Gdansk. What a perfect opportunity to get the exact feel of the office! After a day of co-working, it was time for well-deserved relaxation and fun. The Warsaw DACtour ended with bowling and billiard.

Our CEO activities - Przemys?aw Szleter in Forbes and his own newsletter

A lot was going on at DAC.digital in March, but even more, activeness was related to our CEO. Last month ????????Przemek Szleter was announced as a member of the Forbes Technology Council and now gives his best!?

We started this month by anticipating the interview! Rados?aw Szmit , Head of Growth, talked with Luke Gamrot , CEO of? Louder&Higher , about the potential of R&D. They discussed how the R&D approach could be essential in choosing a tech company, whether there is any difference between Polish companies and foreign competition, and much more.

Financial Times 1000 report

What were we the proudest about in March? If we need to name one thing, it will definitely be a feature in the Financial Times 1000 report!?The FT 1000?is an annual ranking of the fastest-growing companies in Europe. The ranking recognizes European companies that have achieved the highest compound annual revenue growth rate in the last three years, or in the case of this year's ranking, between 2018 and 2021.

DAC.digital was ranked 291st overall and 51st out of 176 companies in the IT & Software category!?
