What is your favorite thing about working at Northwestern Glass Fab?

The people I get to work with every day. They make coming to work each day enjoyable. It’s wonderful to work at a place where you enjoy coming to work every day.

What is a fun fact not a lot of people know about you?

I am a big music fan. I love going to concerts and have a large vinyl collection.

What have you gained from working at Northwestern Glass Fab?

So much glass knowledge! Also learning how to improve my skills to provide customers with a great experience when they work with our team.

What has your experience been with the Northwestern Glass Fab culture?

I love how we prioritize having fun together, like our weekly Fun Friday events. My favorite is when we get to do Band T-Shirt day!

What interested you about working at Northwestern Glass Fab?

My work experience prior was with a large retailer in the convenience pharmacy space. I needed a job that would support my priority of having a work/life balance and NWGF offered that.

What is your proudest moment at Northwestern Glass Fab culture?

Being promoted to Senior Customer Support after working here for a year. It was amazing to be recognized for my growth and achievements after being here for just a short time.

People on the Move

Congratulations to Kim Dodge on her promotion to Brand Development Manager at Brin Glass Company. Kim has been with NWGF since 2020 and has worked both as a Customer Service Lead and Customer Service Manager during her tenure. In her new role, Kim will oversee marketing and branding for the Brin family of companies.

Congratulations to Lauren Chorzempa on her promotion to Retail Glass Service Lead. Lauren joined NWGF in 2021 as a Customer Support Specialist and has cultivated strong relationships with our customers. In her new role, Lauren will be responsible for overseeing the Customer Support Team while continuing to provide daily support to our valued customers.

Congratulations to Brian Heiple on his promotion to Interior & OEM Lead. Brian joined NWGF in 2021 as a Commercial Interior Estimator. In his new role, Brian will be overseeing the Interior & OEM team.

Congratulations to Samantha Stanley on her promotion to Estimator. Samantha joined NWGF in 2020 as a Customer Support Specialist and earned a promotion to Senior Customer Support Specialist in 2021. Samantha has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and forged strong customer relationships, making her a valuable asset in her new role focused on custom showers, all-glass entrances, and metal.

Congratulations to Morgan Wright on her promotion to Estimator. Morgan began her journey with NWGF in 2019 as a Customer Support Specialist. With over a decade of industry knowledge, Morgan will now focus on custom showers, all-glass entrances, and metal in her new role.

Congratulations to Allie Rand on her promotion to Estimator. Allie joined NWGF in 2019 as a Customer Support Specialist and was subsequently promoted to Senior Customer Support Specialist in 2021. Allie's dedication to building strong customer relationships will undoubtedly prove to be an asset as she steps into her new role in Interior & OEM.

Finishing Trades Institute of the Upper Midwest Tour

It was our pleasure to host the FTIUM CTE students and show them what we do in the glass and glazing industry. We believe in the importance of investing in the future of our industry and supporting initiatives that promote a diverse and skilled workforce.

We are grateful for the partnership with District Council 82: International Union of Painters and Allied Trades and the Finishing Trades Institute of the Upper Midwest. Together, we can continue to shape the future of the industry and create positive impacts for all involved.

All Leads Meeting

Our Leadership Team comes together every month to recognize our achievements and strengthen our leadership skills, all in service of our valued customers and business growth. Teamwork and continuous improvement are at the heart of what we do!


Fridley Robotics Team

Northwestern Glass Fab brought the Fridley Robotics team on a tour of our shop last month. We also contributed to their program with monetary and material donations!
