During Mental Health Awareness Week (15th-21st May) Evolution Partners placed significant emphasis on recognising and addressing the interconnectivity of mental, physical, and financial well-being.?

In our most recent whitepaper, Alexandra Murray-Tacon discusses the risks associated with inaction, as well as the opportunities for Financial Services firms and insurers to help alleviate these risks.??

Neglecting mental health can significantly impact productivity, affecting both individuals and the global economy. The World Health Organisation estimates that anxiety disorders alone cost the global economy $1 trillion annually and can also increase the likelihood of chronic illnesses, resulting in higher healthcare expenses and increased claims. By prioritising mental health, incorporating it into product offerings, and proactively implementing a mental health strategy, Financial Services firms can effectively enhance both their own financial well-being and that of their customers.?

The Evolution of ‘Evolutionary Exchanges’?

We began our podcast, Evolutionary Exchanges, in December 2020 with the intention of providing a deeper insight into life at EP, the interests and opinions of our global team and guests, as well as an opportunity to discuss and unpack some of the key issues we’re helping to address within the Financial Services sector.?

If you have not yet had the opportunity to listen to our podcast here is a brief recap of some of our episodes so far:?

In our first-ever episode of Evolutionary Exchanges, Francesa Power, our 2020 Summer Analyst, spoke to David Powell, Founding Partner of the firm, about his career journey, how and why he founded Evolution Partners and why employees and clients decided to work with Evolution Partners.?

As Evolution Partners expanded, our Hong Kong team shifted to the Health and Wellness sector, launching our Health & Wellness campaign. This transition has positioned us as experts in assisting financial institutions in developing Health and Wellness strategies, approaches, and programmes. As a result, we initiated the Evolutionary Exchanges Health and Wellness series, where we explore various health and wellness-related topics. These discussions cover areas such as wearable data and technology to mental health.

One of our most popular episodes is the 'Trends' episode, featuring Bob Chapman , the Managing Partner and Head of Health and Wellness in Hong Kong, in conversation with consultants Emily Capon and Alexandra Murray-Tacon . Together, they discuss the anticipated health and wellness trends for 2023, including the increasing utilisation of sophisticated personalised data and the implementation of reward programs that encourage positive habits.?

In our latest Evolutionary Exchanges series, we introduced the "10 Questions" segment, designed to offer insights into the EP team, their motivations, and their experiences working at Evolution Partners. Our first episode features analyst Harsita Raja speaking with Emily Capon about her interests outside of work, including her love for the ‘White Lotus’ series and her dream holiday to the Bahamas.?

Emily in Paris?

This month, Evolution Partners UK consultant Emily joined the Evolution Partners France team for a day of co-working and catching up, on a beautiful sunny day in Paris. See some pictures below of the team enjoying a meal together at the Art Nouveau-style Brasserie Mollard, where they celebrated the great work they have been doing so far this year. ?
