?? Attributes Distribution

Building upon our “See everything” approach, which is made possible by our use of eBPF and our unique BYOC architecture, we are gearing our platform towards the next step in providing the most robust and useful set of capabilities in observability. We believe that once you’re able to see everything, you should be able to query everything, and to visualize everything.

Today, we release an important feature to support this, as you can now show the distribution of values across a selected attribute by clicking on the Show Distribution icon. The new icon will appear when hovering over any log attribute in the “Attributes” tab of any selected Log, and in the menu that opens when clicking on the attributes at the top (see screenshot).

  • Currently 8 out-of-the-box Monitors (more coming soon)
  • Issues tab - Offers a quick view of all current issues in your environment.
  • Monitors tab - Centralizes all your Monitors in one place

??? Global Navigation (cmd+k)?

Find what you need and navigate directly to it by using cmd+k (Mac) / ctrl+k (Windows)

  • Use the search bar to quickly filter data across the entire platform by a specific cluster/environment
  • Find entities (such as Nodes, Pods, ConfigMap, etc.) by any label and a wide array of values.
  • Results and partial matches as you type, to help you find what you’re looking for quickly
  • Supports multiple search terms so just keep typing until you get exactly what you need!

?? Querying

We've made some serious improvements to the way you can search and filter all your data to narrow it down to exactly what you're looking for, and then share it with anyone or import it anywhere. You can:

  • Add custom columns to your queries
  • Export the filtered query results to csv (only results visible on-screen), so you can easily share with groundcover users and non-users alike, import to third-party tools, or analyze offline
  • Use Advanced Query mode (currently only in Logs) for complex querying based on multiple conditions.?View the syntaxes table
  • Performance improvements, including iterative query results, velocity and filters sampling for long running queries
