This Month in HR: August Recap

Hi there,

We’re in an interesting spot with DEI in the workplace as we enter the end of Q3. From the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)’s decision to drop the word “equity” in July from its diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy (and subsequent backlash from HR professionals), to major brands like Lowe’s, Tractor Supply, and Ford Motor walking back on DEI policies, it seems like prioritization and commitments are waning. But is this true for all businesses? And what does the wider HR professional group think?

This month we dive into all things DEI, including current news stories, the impact organizations have seen implementing DEI (all trends look positive), and what you can do to support DEI in your workplace.
