ENERVEX Successfully Resolves Noise and Energy Consumption Issues at 53 Retirement Apartments

The Cedars at Mt. San Antonio Gardens in Pomona, CA is a new three-story building with 53 modern retirement apartments. The owners were concerned about the energy consumption and noise from 31 exhaust ducts running 24/7, so they contacted ENERVEX Southern California for a solution.

ENERVEX installed 31 ultra-efficient Modulating Building Exhaust Systems? (MBESx), combining exhausts into single ducts and modulating speed based on usage. The high-efficiency, FEI rated BEFx fans with variable-speed motors reduced conditioned air exhaust by 60-70%, significantly saving energy.
