The Gay community is welcome, we support immigration with plans that work; horses for therapy and riding, where more than one river runs through it. So ask me- come to Montana and start your new life- one full of promise, protection, and possibilities.  I moved here from San Francisco almost four years ago; recently went back to San Francisco to see family and friends, film a documentary. As I walked into my old office and room 200 of City Hall I could feel how uptight everyone was compared to my life, with then-Mayor Newsom. The security guard that is supposed to welcome anyone who comes to the office of the Mayor-WAS RUDE TO MY GUESTS. He actually tried to start an argument with them stating " Mayor Newsom didn't do anything" as I started to say " oh yes, he actually did" before I could finish my sentence he said- hey don't be upset. Upset?? I wasn't upset, but my guests were, they had never been to City Hall before. Great welcome mat.

As the days, followed I noticed the inauguration ceremony for the Mayor was coming up inside City Hall- only certain people invited. When Gavin was elected we had a ceremony outside so everyone could come and be apart of this day. Homelessness is more horrifying than ever before and no one talks to each other, even more so than when I worked there. I can only keep trying to help the homeless from here and other states that actually work on programs like "Project Homeless Connect" and not quit - until its fixed. In the end, when we go and we will all leave this planet - someday- we will be judged on what we do- not by what we have. So come to Montana we would love to have you here.
