MonsoonSIM Version 10 Update to Make Teaching and Learning Easier

The end of 2021 is near, this year we've added The Boz, the teaching and learning assistant, the Dynamic Quizzes and the player activity monitoring. As the year comes to the end, we're excited to announce that Version 10 will be out in Q1 2022.

In Version 10, we're focused on usability and ease of use. With these added features in Version 10, we are making teaching and learning easier than ever. So whether your class is virtual or face to face, you and your students will have the smoothest learning experience with MonsoonSIM. Read on below to find out about the benefits we've added.

Version 10 updates:

Feature 1: Fast Registration links?

Now students can join their games without logging in to their MonsoonSIM account. Now all they have to do is click the link and enter their email and name and enter their verification code. Now it takes 2-3 minutes for all 50?students to join their facilitator's games.

Feature 2: Pre-scheduled Configuration Changes

In Version 10, facilitators can pre-design their game configuration like a roadmap, before their class begins. Facilitators can save time by pre-planning the modules, the pace and the complexity before the game begins. To make it even easier teachers can save their well-thought-out configuration, for future classes.

Feature 3: Pre-schedule Coffee Breaks

Ever needed a 5-minute break from a particularly intense experiential-learning session? Maybe your students need time to regroup and strategize? Teachers can now set a 5-minute coffee break on a predefined day, then the game will be paused. The game will resume after 5 minutes from when the game is paused.

Feature 4: Flexible Learning Interface

After 10 years of developing MonsoonSIM, we've created the optimal learning interface for our laptop or desktop-based learners. The size of the tables, micro-charts and transactions will change depending on the screen size of the learners.

Now learners can simultaneously conduct transactions while analyzing micro-charts and viewing the resources they have on hand.

Feature 5: Transaction Auto Refresh

Learners can finally automate their most frequent transactions with less clicking and more thinking will follow.
