The Monkey and The Banana

There was an island with a small village and a money kept terrorizing the village by ruining its crops. They tried hard to get rid of the money but could not do it.

One day the village elder tried something new he built a basket with narrow railed siding and put a banana in the basket which he hung from the branch of a tree,

The monkey saw the basket and the banana and stuck his arm into the basket and grabbed the banana. When the monkey tried to pull his arm out with the banana in hand he could not do it.

The next morning the village elder came to check the trap and found the monkey still holding the banana and trying to get out.

This story tells us that we like the monkey are trapped by our thoughts, the decisions we make and refuse to alter our thoughts and be more creative about our options.
