Monitoring Group Reports on Further Progress Implementing Recommendations to Improve International Audit and Ethics Standard Setting System

The Monitoring Group issued its recommendations to improve the international audit and ethics standard setting system in July 2020 (see STRENGTHENING THE INTERNATIONAL AUDIT AND ETHICS STANDARD-SETTING SYSTEM (iosco.org)). Since that time, the Monitoring Group, working with key stakeholders, have been implementing those recommendations to improve and strengthen the international audit and ethics standard setting system. Many of those recommendations have been put in place. The Monitoring Group issued a further report to provide transparency to all stakeholders about the significant progress that has been made to strengthen and improve the standard setting system (see Monitoring Group Reports on Progress to Implement Recommendations to Strengthen the International Audit, Assurance, Ethics, and Independence Standard-Setting System (iosco.org)). The Monitoring Group is appreciative of the collaborative efforts of its key stakeholders, including the international networks that comprise the Global Public Policy Committee.
