Money Mindset and Manifest Abundance
One of the worst lies to fall for regarding your finances is that only “rich people” can succeed with their money.
Many people fall victim to thinking that if they’re not already rich by age 25, they will never acquire wealth, which is far from the truth. The reality is that you don’t have to be born rich to become wealthy or to use your money wisely. Achieving abundance really boils down to your money mindset — in other words, how you think about money and what you do with it.
What Is Money Mindset?
It’s simple — your money mindset is your own specific attitude and values regarding your money. ?
A money mindset is a manifestation of your attitudes and beliefs about money.
Money mindset can range from your outlook on investing and saving your money, becoming debt-free, getting to 7 figures in savings, and how you spend your money on vacation.? People who have a healthy money mindset believe things like: I have the freedom to spend, but I can also tell myself no to a purchase.
This mindset is built over time, often pulling from life experiences or family background to create your own unique opinion on the value of your money. This background can include having a part-time job in high school or having parents who were open about finances and discussed them regularly with you.
Whatever your financial situation was growing up, it is likely your money mindset was shaped by it. Don’t let that scare you! It is absolutely possible and many times necessary to reshape your money mindset to achieve a more abundant life. It all starts with being aware of what your money mindset currently is and how you would like to improve it.
Here is a piece of advice to get you thinking about the power of your mindset from Anita Mae, Mindset Coach, and Manifesting Mentor, Host of Manifesting Money Podcast and Greatness Coaching Community Member:
“Never let money be the reason why you DO or DON’T do something.” – Anita Mae
It isn't always that easy to keep your mindset in check while you take on the (at times difficult) long-term task of building wealth. ? Attaining the right mindset to build wealth means working on the way you think, working on discipline, getting uncomfortable, and doing what it REALLY takes to get to your end goal.
Improving your mindset is not a one-and-done type of thing. Just like with the muscles in your body, you have to work to maintain them continuously, otherwise, they will begin to deteriorate.
Manifest Abundance
One of the best ways to set yourself up for success with a positive money mindset is by manifesting your financial goals. But — what exactly is manifesting??
Some people see manifesting as a new-age pseudoscience practice, but, at its core, it is essentially reaffirming your goals to yourself. Sure, saying words aloud or writing them down may not directly cause events to happen or opportunities to fall into your hands. However, by reaffirming your abilities and goals, you set your mind up for success, and you’re much more likely to achieve your goals with a positive mindset.
Manifestation is the ability to consciously create your reality by focusing on the power of your thoughts.
It's about being able to materialize things that you think about, feel into or believe.?
Manifestation is the process of bringing your dreams and desires into reality.
The origin of word comes from Latin – ‘abundantia’.
Abundance is about a lot more than money. It’s joy. It’s laughter. Abundance is seeing your baby’s smile. But yes, it is also about manifesting money because the truth is, money is important to people. Financial security allowed us to build and buy a house and manifest new brand partnerships in business.
A common misconception is that abundance is just visualization – people try to just think about what they want and when it doesn’t work, they give up. Manifestation is about so much more.
The Law of Attraction
At this very moment, your life is being guided and influenced by universal forces you may not even be aware of – and the most powerful of all is the Law of Attraction. Just like the law of gravity, it is always in effect, impacting your life in more ways than you can imagine.?
The law of attraction is a universal principle that states you will attract into your life whatever you focus on.?
Whatever you give your energy and attention to is what will come back to you. When you focus on the abundance of good things in your life, you will automatically attract more positive things into your life.
Once you are aware of this universal law, you can learn how to use it to change your life for the better! You are in a constant state of creation.?
Why Does the Universe Use the Law of Attraction?
Simply put, it’s because like attracts like. If you are feeling excited, enthusiastic, passionate, happy, joyful, appreciative, or abundant, then you are sending out positive energy to the universe.? In turn, that positive energy will attract people, resources, and opportunities that resonate on the same energetic wavelength. This optimism that is effortlessly brought into your life path will allow you to reach your goals.
11 Key tips to create a positive money mindset
Here are a few tips to help you improve your money mindset as you go along on your journey to building real wealth. Remember, no matter what your current financial situation is, you can change your mindset and money habits to achieve success.?
1. Decide to be financially successful
Deciding you are going to be wealthy (with full conviction) is an incredible boost to your mindset. This is because, with this decision, you are telling yourself you can do it. Unless you believe you can be wealthy, you probably won't be inclined to do what it takes to actually build wealth.
2. Determine your life values
Once you've decided you are going to be wealthy, you have to determine your reason for wanting this financial success. That means determining your 'why". Your "why" drives a deep sense of purpose and helps you develop the motivation you need. In fact, having a "why" can directly improve factors in your life that tie into overall happiness.
3. Let go of standards and focus on what really matters to you
When it comes to building wealth and working on your money mindset, you have to go with what works for you, and it's important to not get caught up in standards that are defined by the world. And you also want to avoid comparison with others; it's the thief of joy.
4. Get comfortable with your fears and your discomfort
Anxiety and fear are natural byproducts when you want to accomplish something big. There's the fear of the unknown, the fear of change, and the fear of failure.
5. Express gratitude
Expressing gratitude is one of the best money mindset exercises because it is a good way to adjust what you focus on. When you are grateful, you focus more on the things you have that you are appreciative of, as well as on all the good that has come to you.

Why Should You Say Daily Affirmations About Money?
You might believe that affirmations are pointless and that reciting a few phrases to yourself each morning won’t do a thing to boost your self-esteem — that’s okay.? It’s normal for many people to have doubts. However, the neuroplasticity of the human brain has led to scientific confirmation that positive affirmations can indeed alter our thought processes. Because of this remarkable ability, human minds can adjust to a wide variety of new situations.
Basically, by taking advantage of this brain hack, we can bring the changes we want to make to life. You can train your brain to believe in these statements by repeating them to yourself every day. How amazing is that?
How to Properly Repeat Affirmations
While repeating your affirmations aloud, it’s important to relax and focus on the present moment. Pay attention to your body language; stand tall with a proud chin; speak clearly and confidently. Say your affirmations with conviction, as if you were trying to convince your reflection that you were right.
The Top 7 Affirmations to Rewire Your Money Mindset
When you’re feeling insecure or anxious, it can help to repeat positive affirmations to yourself. Your anxiety will decrease as you gain insight into the situation and are able to refocus on it with greater purpose. You can rewire your brain and change your personal relationship with money for the better by repeating these affirmations on daily basis.
1. I am capable of overcoming money obstacles that stand in my way
Start your daily affirmations off strong with this one and give yourself the confidence you need to reshape how you view your personal finances. No matter what life throws at you, you have what it takes to overcome it.
2. I can conquer my money goals
Do you have a savings goal you’ve been trying to hit for too long? Maybe you want to invest in your retirement but just haven’t started the process yet. Whatever your money goals are, there’s no time like the present to start working towards them, and there’s no better way to get started than daily affirmations. You have the power to achieve any goals you set for yourself.
3. I want more money, and that’s okay
You should never feel guilty about wanting financial freedom. There’s a popular narrative in our society that you should just appreciate what you have and be content, but that’s unrealistic. Everyone wants enough money to erase their financial worries. Let yourself come to terms with the fact that you want more money by affirming it in the mirror each morning.
4. My life is filled with health and wealth
Though there is nothing wrong with wanting more, it’s equally as important to practice gratitude every day. This doesn’t mean you make yourself feel guilty about feeling unsatisfied with your financial standing, but rather you make a mental checklist of all the things in your life that you’re grateful for. Take account of the wealth you have already built for yourself and appreciate your own health and ability to wake up each day and experience life.?
5. I deserve to make more money
Never underestimate the importance of standing up for yourself — even if the person you’re standing up to is you! If you notice your critical inner voice chiseling away at your confidence and filling your head with negative thoughts, incorporate this affirmation into your daily routine. You deserve good things, and you deserve the financial freedom.
6. I’m not poor, I’m just low-wealth right now, and that is changing
Speaking of negative thoughts, it does you no good to live in a sea of pessimism and reaffirms to yourself that you’re poor and will never climb out of this place of financial insecurity. Just like how reaffirming positive thoughts will eventually lead to your brain accepting those thoughts as reality, reaffirming negative thoughts will do the same.
7. Today I commit to living my financial dreams
End your daily affirmations with this commitment to living your financial dreams. Allow yourself the freedom to remain disciplined and eager to accomplish your goals. When you reaffirm this to yourself, you make a promise to make your financial dreams a reality starting today.
