Money — How To Open Your Mind To Receive It

More and more people are becoming aware of the power of the mind in creating their wealth or poverty. But how does the idea of money in your mind translate into cash in your wallet?

You have probably heard that success is 95% mindset and 5% strategy. As shocking as that may sound to you, it is a very modest way of putting it. Science now tells us that the observable universe is less than 0.0001% matter and more than 99.999% Space. This Space is what has been termed the Quantum Vacuum and it is filled with energy and consciousness. Going a step further, we know that our universe is just a tiny speck within a boundless infinity. That means that in a very literal sense, that which is invisible is the only Reality, while the visible is mere shadows. The magic of life is to master the domain of Causation. When we do, the outer effects take care of themselves like magic. Now, you will find a million gurus for each tactic that you want to use to make money or succeed in life. But there is only a handful of us who have the gift to take you on the deeper journey. It is the road less traveled that makes all the difference. I will be recommending some carefully selected resources that you can work with to apply these lessons and create the results you want. But first, let us work on the real cause of all the phenomena in your life — YOU!

The energy matrix or ground substance that the universe is made of is not matter. It is the building block of matter. It can be viewed as the minutest subatomic particle, for want of a better term because it has been found that these building blocks of matter are not particles in themselves. That is, they possess no mass, they do not occupy any fixed space because they appear anywhere you are observing them. Basically, they are entities whose existence bridges our space-time universe such that it is impossible to completely understand their nature and behavior using the instruments we now have.

But one thing that we know for sure, that has been demonstrated scientifically, is that this matrix of the universe is made up of pockets of energy that are in a constant state of vibration. If you have ever seen the surface of an ocean, then you can visualize the behavior of a fluid medium. The matrix of the universe is a sea of pure energy that is in a constant state of vibration.

Because this matrix is energy in its purest form, it responds to the impulses of thought and feeling. It shapes itself following the pattern that you impress upon it with your imagination. Remember that you are a thinker being existing within this matrix, your brain playing the role of a broadcasting antenna. Your feelings are the magnetic force that holds this image together. When you hold a certain image in your mind and charge that image with feeling, and keep it in place long enough, it will materialize into form.

Hold this concept firmly in your mind, because it is this principle that holds the key to your practice of the creative exercises. It makes you see the universe as a sea of pure energy that is in a constant state of vibration and responsive to your thoughts, rather than the outer aggressive men, angry women, stubborn mountains, and all that your senses report as solid. Faith is the ability to look at reality from inside out. To the one who has this faith, nothing is impossible.

We have seen that the universe is a reality with a dual nature just as man is a reality with a dual nature. The universe is a spiritual realm of existence that is living and moving and having its being through the physical realm of existence called Creation. Spirit or God is at the heart of all existence and all things that exist, exist in Him. We have seen that Reality is One, Reality is Spirit, Reality is Conscious, Reality is Intentional. This intentional, conscious activity of Spirit is what is called Mind. The Universal Mind or Divine Consciousness is the ultimate Law of the universe. It is the Creative Principle that gives rise to everything else. The human mind that you are, is this Universal Mind individualized. You can picture your relationship with Universal Mind as the relationship between a wave and the ocean.

The wave is the ocean in motion. The wave gives expression to the ocean. The wave is the ocean itself on a smaller scale. Because mind, in its original state is pure, infinite, universal, unconditioned, or unconditional, it is termed unconscious or subconscious mind. When mind moves into the realm of rational or intellectual awareness, it becomes conditioned or personalized by the external experience of reality. At this stage, it is termed the conscious or rational mind.

You can consider your rational mind as your waking consciousness, the sum total of the activity that takes place as a result of the impulses conveyed through your brain by your physical senses. Since the rational mind is a thought activity that is informed by and limited to the experiences of the senses, it is also called the sense mind or the carnal mind. The rational mind is the instrument by which you experience life on the planet. It is your rational mind that gives you a personality.

If you liken yourself to an airplane you will be able to see clearly that the rational mind is the pilot who knows where he is going, knows the direction to take, and knows how to use the buttons and user manual of the plane to navigate the plane to his destination. If he navigates the plane according to the user manual, it will take him to his destination safely. If he fails to master the rules of flying, he will crash the plane. The navigation system of the plane represents the subconscious mind. It is a tremendous system of energy and miraculous capabilities. But without a competent pilot to run it, this same power can become very destructive. Then of course you have the engineer who built the plane. This is the Universal Mind within which we all live, the Christ Presence by which all things come to being.

There is the One Spirit we call God.

The self-awareness of this Spirit is the Universal Consciousness or Universal Mind which we call Christ, and which is subjective or subconscious in nature because it transcends materiality.

Then we have the individualization of Christ as you; that is, the differentiation of Universal subjective mind into your individual subjective mind.

Then we have the experience of mind as the rational activity that results when the subconscious mind is conditioned by the senses whose processing center is the brain.

When you understand this dynamic, it becomes obvious to you that your rational thoughts are just an experience you are having as a result of the interaction of the subconscious (pure) mind with your brain. The difference between your individual subconscious mind and the Universal Subconscious mind is that while the Universal Subconscious Mind is the Pure Soul of the universe, the Christ, in you, this Christ becomes consistently and persistently conditioned by your rational activity. It is like a river, getting more and more dirty as you approach the banks.

Your rational mind is therefore that pilot that you can train to deliberately navigate the vessel of your body through glorious experiences in life, by mastering the nature of the subconscious mind and how to collaborate with it in the creative process.

ACTIVITY

Take a piece of paper and write down the 6 steps of the Napoleon Hill method by which the desire for riches can be transmuted into its financial equivalent. Read it, aloud if you can, memorize it till you can recite it without looking at your paper. Read the reflection you wrote yesterday about how much money you want and why you want it. Ask yourself what service you intend to render to society in exchange for the money you are asking from the universe. Forget about the ways and means and just focus on your ideal job or your ideal business. Preparation will come later. What is the most fulfilling work you feel you can do that will render the highest service to the highest number of people and serve as the medium through which your money will flow to you? Spend the rest of today analyzing this question. When you have made up your mind, put it on paper in the most graphic detail you can imagine.
