Money is not everything but it will give you choices and options… - so money is important!
Money Makes the World Go Around
People often say that “money is not everything but everything is money.” And it’s true – in the grand scheme of things, money doesn’t mean all that much.
But that doesn’t mean it’s unimportant. In fact,?having a lot of money can make a big difference?in your life.?
Think about what you could do with an extra $1,000 per month. You could afford to pay for a nicer apartment or travel more often with your family.
You could even save up for a down payment on a house! Money certainly isn’t everything, but it definitely makes life a lot easier.
Does this mean that money should be our number one priority?
As mentioned above, being financially stable is important, but to understand the?money is not everything meaning,?we need to dig much deeper.??
Mythology of Money
In the?wealthy vs. rich debate, you might think that being rich is the most crucial thing in the world since it’s often associated with earning a lot of cash and becoming a millionaire.
However, this kind of mindset also creates a false perception of what it means to be wealthy.
But, again,?money is not everything in life. While our hero, Midas, became wealthier than ever, he could not eat or drink, and he even turned his precious daughter into a golden statue once he touched her.
The moral of the story?
Be careful about what you wish for and understand your intentions before taking (financial) action.?
Changing the Money Paradigm??
Money isn’t everything?since it can’t buy us the essential things in life:?health and love.
Love Doesn’t Cost a Thing
One of the most important things in life is your relationships. Friends and family are the people who will be there for you through thick and thin, and they are worth more than any amount of money.?
If you don’t have a strong network of support, then you need to work on building one. Spend time with your friends and family, go out for coffee or dinner, and just enjoy each other’s company.??

Thank you ….The First Wealth is Health?
To understand the?money isn’t everything?meaning, we’ll talk about?another important area of your life — your health.?
True, if you’re rich, you’ll have access to the best dietitians and personal trainers on the planet, but they won’t be able to save you from all the illnesses in the world.?
For example, the famous Beatle, George Harrison, lost his battle with cancer, although he had a net worth of?$400 million at the time of his death.
Money is not everything, Warren Buffett?would say, i.e.,?“Money will not change how healthy you are or how many people love you.”

Strive Not to Be a Success, but Rather to Be of Value
Your personal growth is another area that is important in life. You should always be working on becoming a better person. This means learning new things, challenging yourself, and growing as an individual.?
Do you want to add a word or two?....
The main advantage of money is that it removes all the difficulties of the barter economy.
I may thus mention the following advantages of money:
It renders double coincidence of wants unnecessary. It thus facilitates exchanges and the satisfaction of wants.
It provides a common measure of value. It thus gives a precise idea about the relative value of commodities.
It is capable of sub-division. As such it helps in the completion of even minute transactions which is great gain to society.
It serves as a convenient store of value.
Your Comments….
As a very desirable goal, money spurs all economic activity.
It is sometimes said that money is only a medium of exchange and merely saves us from the difficulties of barter; that the object of production is not money but satisfaction of wants; and that we labour to acquire money not for its own sake but as a means to satisfy wants.
These statements are certainly true. But the ordinary businessman or manufacturer does not think of money in these terms.
For instance, a cloth manufacturer does not make cloth with the aim of social service that people may cover themselves, but that he may earn profits.
He pays wages to his laborer's, not for the reason that they may satisfy their wants but only because these payments are necessary for his profits.
Still feeling love for each other, my partner walked away saying he didn’t feel able to commit.
He didn’t want to work on the relationship because he felt that nothing would change for him.
So, I had no choice but to let it end and do everything I could to pick myself up from deep grief, intensified by great confusion.
Now, over a year later, I still cannot give you a definitive reason as to?why we broke up.
I do still think about the breakup and occasionally it can bring up emotion, even now.
But these days, instead of that burning need to understand and make sense of it, I have a more distanced curiosity when I think about the reasons you ended. ?
I think this might be that elusive state we call “closure.”
This reflection led me to explore what closure means: why we strive for it and why it feels so hopeless when we think we can’t reach it.
Do we ever truly have it and where does it come from?

1 年None of us want to become poor in life. Our needs to have a lot of money do increase all the time. If we are, to sum up, all our daily routine briefly, it would be “go to work, make money. Wealth?is now our second God, we think about nothing much than our bank account balance. If you are like me, I always calculate the interest I may earn on my account before the month is due. We are all prone to this, is a human disease, we all want to be wealthy and successful. You deserve to have more and to be able to have choices in life. ?Money allows us to have that. But, isn’t the love of money the root of all evil? I have seen lack of money create more harm and destruction. I have seen lack and scarcity be more the root of evil. Yes, greed and money for money’s sake and control can be very damaging.
