Money Challenges: The Hidden Truth You Need to Know

Money Challenges: The Hidden Truth You Need to Know

Breaking the Cycle of Scarcity: How Trust in G-d (Our Creator) Unlocks Abundance

For many of us, financial struggles go far beyond the numbers in our bank accounts. We can often trace our challenges with money to something deeper: a lack of trust. Not in ourselves or our abilities, but in something much greater: trust in G-d and the unfolding of our life experiences.

Recently, I uncovered an important insight into the root cause of financial anxiety, and I believe it’s something worth sharing.

The Hidden Cause: Trust—or Lack of It

When we face challenges, particularly around money, it’s easy to feel like we don’t have enough. Whether it's worrying about cash flow, missing opportunities, or feeling stuck, these thoughts often spiral into fear and anxiety. But here's the critical insight: the root cause often lies in our incomplete trust in G-d and His plan for our lives.

Now, I want to clarify: this doesn’t mean that you don’t trust G-d at all. But it might be that your trust is not complete. Let me explain how this shows up and how you can recognize it.

True Trust Leads to Calmness and Confidence

People who deeply trust in G-d come to believe that everything that happens is ultimately for the good. Even when things don’t look great on the surface, they trust that everything is part of a larger plan. This shift in perspective brings about a range of emotions we all long for calmness, confidence, peace, happiness, gratitude, and strength.

These are the feelings that we yearn for, yet they often seem elusive when we’re caught up in worries about our financial situation. But the absence of these feelings is often a direct result of not fully trusting G-d and His plan for us.

Money Worries = Scarcity Thinking

Think about it for a moment: when you’re stressed about money, it’s like saying, “I don’t believe G-d will provide for me.” This statement reflects a mindset of scarcity. And here’s the tricky part—when you focus on scarcity, it feeds itself. Thoughts of not having enough attract more thoughts of lack, perpetuating a cycle of negativity and fear.

This cycle isn’t just frustrating—it can also keep us stuck in a place of financial stagnation. But what if there was a way to break free from this? What if we could stop the negative loop and shift our focus from scarcity to abundance?

The First Step: Awareness

The first step in breaking this cycle is awareness. The more you become aware of your thoughts, especially those connected to scarcity and fear around money, the more you can begin to shift your perspective.

Ask yourself:

- What are my thoughts around money?

- Am I subconsciously thinking that I don’t have enough?

- What might be causing these thoughts?

Increasing your awareness helps heal the mind. It gives you the power to recognize limiting beliefs and replace them with more empowering ones.

Trusting the Bigger Picture

The next step in breaking free from scarcity is trusting in G-d’s plan for you—even when things are difficult. It's understanding that every experience you go through, even the painful or uncomfortable ones, is ultimately a gift from Him.

Life is not just a random series of events. It’s a mission—a journey that only you can fulfill. When you start seeing your life as part of a greater mission, it becomes easier to accept where you are, even when you don’t fully understand why certain things are happening.

Instead of judging what’s happening in your life, try accepting it with trust. Trust that G-d knows what He’s doing, even when you don’t understand the reason right now. You don’t need to know why; you just need to believe that He does.

A Practical Exercise: Deepening Your Trust

One of the most powerful practices you can incorporate into your life is dedicating a focused period of time each day to self-reflection. This is a simple, but effective, way to cultivate deeper awareness and trust.

Here’s how to start:

Set aside 1 hour every morning to sit quietly and reflect (if 1 hour is heavy for you, do 30 minutes and then after 2 weeks go to 1 hour).

Ask yourself deep questions, such as:

- What is your goal related to having more trust?

- What benefits will you experience by achieving this goal?

- Who else will benefit from this shift, and how?

- How will you feel once you’ve fully embraced trust in G-d? What will you see, hear, and feel?

- What’s currently moving you toward this goal?

- What might be standing in your way?

Write down any thoughts or answers that come to you. Don’t judge or edit your responses, just let them flow. This process can reveal layers of awareness that will unlock new possibilities in your life. If you want to go deeper, ask yourself “Why is that?” after each answer. The more you ask, the more layers you’ll uncover.

The Power of Self-Reflection

This time you dedicate to self-reflection is crucial for your growth. No one else can do it for you. It’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of life, thinking that making more sales or earning more money will fix everything. But if you skip this self-reflection, you’ll remain stuck in the cycle of scarcity, regardless of your external success.

Trusting G-d and building your awareness is an ongoing process, and it’s the key to unlocking not just financial abundance, but emotional and spiritual growth as well.

The Path to Abundance Starts with Trust

If you want to break free from financial stress, stop the cycle of scarcity, and unlock a deeper sense of peace, start by trusting the bigger picture. Recognize that every experience, even the challenges, is part of G-d’s plan for you.

And remember, when you increase your awareness and deeply trust in G-d’s plan, you’ll naturally start attracting more abundance into your life. The key to financial freedom and personal growth begins with trust.
