Monetizing Mentorship

You CANNOT buy experience, and NO! qualifications (no matter how many) do not equate to industry-based experience.
My mentors, all of which I’m very honored to be working with, have helped me materialize and monetize my ideas/dreams more so since the launch of my start up Noor Consultancy & Coaching . As an entrepreneur savvy business decisions = profits.
You see, with start-ups you’re faced with an avalanche of daily decisions that you must take, in addition to ensuring that your strategy stays up to speed, your finances make sense and your team taken care of.
So, here’s what I do. When the strategic, game-changing decisions are on the table, I try to break them down, book a 15-minute call with one of my mentors (depending on the area of expertise) and shoot the ideas one after the other.
I’m blessed to have them, I really am. The average age of mentors is 65. So, I’m leveraging a collective 200+ years of expertise. One of the coolest things about them, is that I have their full buy-in on my dreams. They’ve won, over their careers and now they want to see me win.

I believe that when I take, I must give. So, through Noor Consultancy & Coaching , I’ve been mentoring entrepreneurs and professionals on their journeys. I seem to be particularly good at career shifts, growth, and personal branding.
I always wondered, why my mentors are so keen to see me win. The more I mentor, the more I coach, I realize that when my success partners win, I win. Full, deep happiness because they did it, they won! It’s an unbelievably enriching experience.
Key Takeaways:
- If you’re on a crossroad (or trying to make some key decisions) seek a mentor or a coach
- Choose wisely, someone who has the experience you need/are looking for
- Pick wisely, someone who is BOUGHT-INTO your dreams. They exist.
- Don’t do it alone, it’s very enriching to have guidance, but so much more fun to have someone to celebrate with.
- Finally, if you’re on the other side of the coin, and you can mentor, do that. You’re in for a treat.
