The monetary value of your attention
Have you mastered your attention yet?

The monetary value of your attention

It is indeed a race and there are many competitors. They are all trying to catch it, even if only for a few seconds, yes a few seconds maybe

  • in the elevator on a screen
  • very likely a notification on your phone
  • can be something on the radio (lyrics, ads, talk show, etc.)
  • app updates, try this, install that
  • shopping or eating out (cf. a mall experience)
  • discounts, bargain, catchy ads

The list goes on and does feel endless, but all the same, these sources, ideas are all competing for your attention. And as long as you are not paying attention to your own thoughts, feelings, and feeling your every moment in your life with that noise, they are winning. They (invisible master manipulators) are in the driver's seat. You are following, they are leading.

You are giving away control over your attention, over decisions to an external source or many external sources for that matter.

It is happening at a subconscious level, until that moment of awakening. Awakening brings you a seemingly harsh reality and allowing your fears to surface. You can go back to the inconvenient convenience state and ignore what you already know in your heart or choose to be present in the moment.

You can choose to master your attention and choose which thoughts you are going to nurture and which ones you are going to leave behind.

You can choose to pay attention to your body and listen to the wisdom it shares with you in the form of intuitions.

You can choose to allow and embrace a variety of feelings without resistance. The less you resist the easier it becomes to feel and fill your heart. After all, it is all involved in the energy of pure love.

Now, next time when you pay attention to your thoughts, words, emotions, beliefs, do it with love. Do it with acceptance, without judgment.

WHY?

Because you can. Because you deserve the best version of your life. Becase you are worthy.

Peace and Gratitude,

Beatrix :)

Loved the article. It's the harsh reality. Liked the phrase inconveniently convenient. Mastering own thoughts is the only key.
