This addition of Monday Muses is going to be very short I have a sinus infection due to the amount of wattle that is flowering nearby. I love the wattle, it just isn't all that kind to me. The doctor was very surprised when I said I would take the antibiotics but no thanks to the pain killers.

There are people that come into our lives who simply fill every space. The late David DePaolo was and in some ways still is one of the people who just expanded everyone's horizons. I am forever going to be in David's debt for the doors he opened for me and the amazing people I was able to meet and work with and still continue to firstly call my friends and secondly work with. It still feels impossible that David has been gone now for 4 years.

I had a conversation last week with one of the mentors who helped shape my study agenda all that time back. Cameron was the go to person when I needed to understand what it was

that I was reading. Cameron reminded me that if a question can be framed then the answer can be found. With that in mind I cleared the glass doors of the notes and squiggles that were there and wrote down the headings that have been forming. There is still such a lot of Craig's Table that has not been seen or realised. What Cameron once more assured me about what that the answers whilst they themselves may be complex the outcome needs to appear effortless and passive. Which is good because everyone knows I am not a fan of hard work.???? ?? Cameron set me a series of tasks to work towards before we chat again in October. Including re-reading The Effect of Employment and Workers Compensation... apparently I missed something the last few times that Cameron and I discussed this paper.

Sophie Stewart also popped in for a chat that resulted in me answering a few questions for an article that she is writing. I will post a link to the article when it becomes available in August.

For now I am going to get myself something to eat and have another cup of tea before heading for an early night.
