Thank you to everyone who asked me for the list I books I gave to *Emma For those of you who wondered here is the list. A Dolphin Called Jock Melody Horrill Longpath Ari Wallace Black Beauty Anna Sewell [promoted as a children's book, Black Beauty simply makes people slow down stop and think] Into the Magic Shop Dr James R Doty Finding Gobi Dion Leonard It's Not About The Horse Wyatt Webb Man's Search for Meaning Viktor Frankl Turn the Ship Around L David Marquet What We Owe Each Other Minouche Shafik Mao's Last Dancer Li Cunxin

Each book brings forward different ways of thinking and considering and dealing with emotions that sometimes are totally unexpected. I asked *Emma to note where in her being she felt reactions and emotions and after a few books to look at her notes to see if there was any overlap. The book list really is designed to keep *Emma staying away from the main path and to form her own ideas and concepts. I also asked *Emma to note the thoughts that come in unexpected after she had read the books that she wasn't expecting, and incidents that reminded her of what she had read. All of it will help her form and design her own way forward.

Last week was a tad off-centre for me, Tuesday the 2nd November was a difficult day to get through. In my family it is the birthday of 6 people, it is also the birthday of my late brother, he turned 16 on the 2nd November 1969, due to a workplace incident he never had another birthday. Even now after all these years, there is an empty seat at the table that echoes while at the same time a very special young lady in my life and others celebrate.

Last week also saw the announcement for WorkCompCollege.com official launch. Behind the scene Bob Wilson,?Mark 'RxProfessor' Pew?and?Donald A. Abrams have been working very hard to get everyone and everything in place. I am very proud that Craig's Table will form a small part of what is on offer. Please register for the launch if you haven't already done so. It will be in different time zones for everyone [I am smiling as it will be 9am here for me which makes a nice change from the 3am Zoom meetings]

Today I finally sent 2 of the 3 letters I have been working on. It may seem strange to you [I know it annoys The Marksman] that even now I still struggle to lodge formal concerns which one of the letters was. However I also know that when valid information is not attended to the matter only grows. The other letter I mailed today was the letter where a media person asked for information about the injured worker community. This week I will get the 3rd letter finished and sent.

Though I haven't been asked to compose the 3rd letter after discussing the situation with The Marksman [he left it to me to decide] as the issue I have lodged a formal concern relates to the sentence that is highlighted even if the information is ignored I will know that I have done what is right and what is all that I could do to inform the people behind re-designing just what the formal concern is about and where I have placed it.

Time to head to the kitchen once more, but before I do last week a friend told me about this app SnapSendSolve as far as I know it is just for Australia, but basically it is to take photos of road hazards such as potholes and dumped shopping trolleys and dumped roadside rubbish, and street lights that aren't working. I must admit on my daily walks I have sent a few concerns that have been bugging me for a long time.

The first week in November is not the easiest of weeks. Hold tight, November 4 would have been my mother’s 73rd birthday.

Thanks Rosemary
