Events Are Only Events?

I heard the story of the young boy in a far away kingdom who dreamed of getting his own horse.?Finally his father gave into his wishes and got him a beautiful?horse and that was a?GOOD?thing.?But then his horse broke down the?fence and ran away...that was a?BAD?thing.?A few days later, his horse returned and several other horses followed...that was a?GOOD?thing.?Years later the young boy grew into a young man and he was out riding his horse and fell.?He would break his leg and that was a?BAD?thing.?But soon war would break out in the kingdom and they came to take the young man off to war, but with his broken leg he was not able to?go and that was a?GOOD?thing.??

In the end, many things had happened?and each event by itself?was either a good or bad thing,?but when considered in the greater context, the events were really neither good or bad, but merely?events to be judged?over a lifetime.??

In our own personal kingdoms, let's take a moment to think about the various?events we endure.?In the greater journey of life, please consider that neither?the good or bad events in our lives should be judged in the moment, but noted, dealt with and considered all part of the amazing process of life.?Full of surprises...good or bad and yet in the end, full of outcomes we may truly not understand in the moment.??

Get on your horse and ride!?The journey is the greatest part of the time we are given and we should never curse the events we are dealing with, but rather wait for the next great event to unfold!?Giddy up, it's Monday?and great events are about to be experienced!??
