?? The Glenlivet Breaks Stereotypes In Latest Campaign

Called “Break the Stereotype,” the campaign aims to change the perception of the stereotypical whisky drinker. According to?The Glenlivet, for too long, the drink has been associated with middle-aged white men. Furthermore, when you search for whisky drinkers on Google, a disproportionate amount of results are stereotypical.

To change that, the whisky brand infiltrated Google search algorithms, filling it with images of women and young people of different ethnicities enjoying the drink.

To accompany the campaign, The Glenlivet also opened a pop-up store in London. Guests of the pop-up will be asked to take a picture of themselves with the cocktail. The images will then be used to further infiltrate the algorithm.

Due to its chemicals, traditional sun lotions lead to coral bleaching and can decrease fertility in fish. Now, to get people to ditch the chemical sun lotions,?Four Season Resort Maui?has partnered with vegan suncare brand Project Reef.

Project Reef?uses all-natural ingredients in its sun lotion, such as aloe vera, coconut, and sea buckthorn oil. As part of the collaboration, resort visitors will get free access to the SPF 30 and SPF 50 versions of the sustainable sunscreen.

The aim of this initiative is to raise awareness among people about the importance of wearing ocean-friendly sun protection to protect the environment.

?? Ben & Jerry’s Launches Hiring Program For At-Risk Youth

Called Unlock Potential, the 12-month pilot hiring program aims to match young people at risk for incarceration with valuable long-term job opportunities at major corporations.

The program targets specifically young people aged 16-24 who are unemployed and not receiving education, and who have additional risk factors such as an incarcerated parent, involvement in the foster care system, and association with sex or human trafficking.

Data shows that meaningful employment opportunities are one of the most effective ways to prevent future incarceration. According to?Ben & Jerry’s, the initiative aims to advance racial equity and recruit the next level of corporate leaders.
