The Monday Brief — Edition 25
Welcome to the 25th edition of Societhy’s “Monday Brief”, where we summarize the previous week’s progress in terms of production.
Do you know what this means? That means we’ve been publishing the Monday Brief for 6 months straight! ??
We think that calls for celebration, don’t you? Read below ??
Highlights of the past week
Our two beloved co-founders have been running left and right from meeting to meeting. Aside from enhancing their physical (and virtual) cardio, this means good things are coming for Societhy!
There’s been talk of us in investor circles, and Societhy figures in an article by?Axeleo Capital. Axeleo is an early stage French-based VC, supported by a large community of tech entrepreneurs.
What does that mean for Societhy? It means we’re starting to be on the radar of some interesting people!
Check out Axeleo Capital’s article and infographic about the French Web3 ecosystem below:
The Societhy team has met with the Creative Director of the brand we’re working with on Project Feather. Together, we’ve written the script of the experience and created a timeline of the event.
We’ve shown them a first preview, received their feedback and have determined together what will be the next step!
While we’re still early in the production of Project Heartbeat (the code name was only revealed?last week!), our team has finished modelling the large “area” where the event will take place, and is now designing and applying the textures.
In other news, this week marks the start of the long awaited FIFA World Cup ’22 in Qatar!
As sport is one of Societhy’s 5 themes, we’ve thought for quite some time on the possibilities of bringing sports to the metaverse.
Stay tuned, as we might have something to show you next week..
Last week’s difficulties
Meeting investors and networking while leading & producing 5 different experiences at the same time makes for a busy day, as you can undoubtedly imagine.
One of the difficulties we’re often confronted with is combining everything while still ensuring efficacy and efficiency.
Concentrating on one thing only to be “interrupted” by another breaks your line of thought and often slows things down.
We’re always looking for ways to improve our productivity with the team internally but also on a personal level. As things get added on the to-do list, we adjust; reorganize our work days as needed.

It’s tough but we love our job, so we do it, and with a smile too!
Next week’s challenges
In order to continue doing our job in the best way possible, this week we’ll be creating a project kick-off structure.
This framework will help us get a clearer view on where we stand in each of our 5 upcoming experiences, as well as provide a quick and global view for our team on the progress of each department.
The kickoff document will also provide our community a (limited) view on Societhy’s progress in every experience! We’ve always valued transparency towards our investors and community just as much as we do internally.
We need you!
Big news! (not really) We’re hiring! Yes, still ??
Societhy is looking for a Video Editor who is proficient in Unreal Engine 5!
We care more about finding the?right?person for the job than about finding them?quickly, which means we can flexible on the terms.
If you know someone who is skilled in the recording and editing of videos in Unreal Engine 5, and who’s looking for a full-time, a part-time, or an internship, kindly send them to us!
You can reach out directly to our CEO?Julien Keller?by private message on?LinkedIn.
