Monday — 3 Simple Ways to Let Go of Fear & Dissolve Negativity

“Yay, Monday!” Said no one… Ever

Let’s face it, Mondays usually suck.

Mondays are usually associated with returning to a job you don’t like, dealing with mind-numbing traffic after a relaxing weekend, and the day when everything seems to go wrong.

The only Mondays most people seem to tolerate are the 3-day weekends.

But what if I showed you a new way to look on Mondays? One that would show you how to appreciate the day for what it is and provide some tips to help you conquer the day?

In this article, I aim to show you just that.

Monday through the eyes of Chakra

When’s the last time you learned about your?chakra centers?

If it’s been a while, here’s a quick recap: We have seven main chakra centers in the body, and each center can be associated with a day of the week.

  • The Root Chakra — Monday
  • The Sacral Chakra — Tuesday
  • The Navel/Solar Plexus Chakra — Wednesday
  • The Heart Chakra — Thursday
  • The Throat Chakra — Friday
  • The Third Eye Chakra — Saturday
  • The Crown Chakra — Sunday

Each chakra center has a unique?emotional theme, block, and audible frequency?(we’ll discuss this later). Each center can be activated independently, and if left unchecked, it can become underutilized or overutilized.

Monday’s Specific Emotional Theme, Block, & Frequency

  • Daily Chakra:?Root Chakra
  • Chakra Location:?Base of the Spine
  • Main Emotional Theme:?Survival
  • Main Emotional Block:?Fear
  • Vibrational Frequency:?396Hz

On Mondays, your emotional goal should be to survive the day, do things that scare you, and remind yourself that you’re safe and secure.

Mondays are meant to set you up for the rest of the week. If you can conquer Monday, you’ll usually notice that the rest of the week also goes in your favor.

Here are three little chakra tricks I use to survive my Mondays:

#1 Chakra Recommended Activities

If you beat Monday, you will set up the rest of your week for success.

Today’s recommended activities help you build momentum for the week.

Recommended Activities:

  • Start things you typically avoid or fear doing
  • Bookkeeping, Accounting, etc.
  • Schedule your meetings for the upcoming week
  • Cleaning, Laundry, Household Chores
  • Grocery Shopping

There’s a productivity technique called “Eating the Frog,” where they recommended doing the most challenging task at the beginning of the day. The mindset is to attack the obstacle when you have the most energy and then enjoy a more peaceful day after completing the task.

The same applies to scheduling your activities throughout the week.

Get these tasks out of the way at the beginning of the week. This way, you give yourself time later in the week to be more disciplined, focused, creative, and compassionate. And trust me, you’ll get a specific time for each.

#2 Self-Reflection Questions

“It’s Monday. Get a new perspective. Whatever obstacle you’re facing — it’s not permanent.”

When’s the last time you asked yourself self-reflection questions on a Monday? It turns out they can be very enlightening and help you develop a clear intention for the day.

The following questions are ones you can write down or keep in your conscious awareness throughout the day.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  • What am I scared of?
  • What do I?need?to do?
  • Am I stable & secure?

These questions echo the other points I’ve made in this article. The goal here is to remind you that Mondays are pivotal in setting the tempo for the rest of the week.

Your focus today should be on creating an essential emotional foundation for the week, starting with addressing your fears and reminding yourself that you’re safe and secure.

#3 Solfeggio Frequency Spotify Playlists

“This is your Monday morning reminder that you can handle whatever this week throws at you.”

Every morning, I start by listening to?Solfeggio frequencies?associated with the corresponding chakra day. On Mondays, I listen to?396Hz?to help with?fear, guilt, and negative thoughts?that plague us throughout the day.

I created the following playlist on Spotify. You can save it and use it the next time you have a case of the Mondays.

Playlist:?Monday Starter Kit

Conclusion

Look, we can all agree that Mondays still kind of suck.

But in the grand scheme of the week, they play a critical role.

Use Monday as a declaration for a powerful and abundant week. Focus on the things that annoy you and scare you. Lean into the suckiness of Mondays because if you do, every other day of the week will be better off for it.

“I must break the routines and become a person who becomes productive every Monday. I must break the mindset of unhappiness and turn myself into a happy magnet for Mondays.” — Leggy Saul
