Monarx Security Wins by the Numbers
August was a busy month for us at Monarx, and we’ve got some highlights to share with you!?
Imagine you’re the security of the world’s largest shopping mall. Your job is to keep an eye on every store, every hallway, every customer, every transaction, and every step they take to make sure everything is safe and running securely. That’s close to what we do—except instead of a mall, we’re protecting billions of website-based activities. ?
Last month, we monitored a total of 323 billion activities—like checking every transaction, every visitor’s movement, and every item on the shelves in your mall, every second of the day. ? ? On our busiest day, we oversaw 14.7 billion activities in 24 hours—7 times more than all Black Friday 2023 online transactions (200.4 million)!?
We also checked 905 million digital files to make sure they were safe. Think of this as inspecting every item in every store to ensure nothing dangerous gets through.?
We found 83 million pieces of harmful malware—bad stuff that can damage websites, like shoplifters trying to sneak things out of the mall. Even more surprising, 25% of the harmful malware we caught was completely new & unusual. This is the exact reason to use behavior-based detections (like ours) versus traditional scanners that are likely to miss the completely new variants. ?

We fixed 94.5 million issues—whether that meant cleaning up problems, isolating threats (like kicking shoplifters out of the mall), or patching up security flaws. Hackers are always trying new things, but we’re ready for them.?
We also cleaned up 8,861 websites via our human powered WordPress Site Cleaning Service and checked 475,000 sites to make sure they were safe. Imagine having to inspect every store in your mall regularly to keep things in top shape—that’s what we do, in real-time.?
These are more than just numbers—they are the heartbeat of our mission. Every file scanned, every threat neutralized, and every site secured brings us closer to a safer, more resilient web. We’re fired up by what we’ve accomplished and even more excited about what lies ahead as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in web security.?
