Momentum building
Exciting news just in - our revised designs for The Wave Bristol have been granted consent by South Gloucestershire Council!
As we mentioned in recent updates, our decision to change to SurfLoch wave-making technology meant that we had to revise all of our engineering design work. A massive task. The changes were substantial enough to necessitate an amendment to planning. Although we were confident that the improvements would be well received, it's always a slightly nail-biting wait until you know it's been successful!
Massive thanks to APG architects, Hydrock, GVA Bilfinger and Lacey Hickie & Caley for their input into this stage of the development.
Now that we have the planning revisions approved we can get on site and start some important preparation works. Exciting times!
Keep your eyes out for more frequent updates now that momentum is gathering,
Have a great weekend everyone,
Nick
