Momentum is Building

Momentum is Building

I've never written or launched a book before so I don't know what momentum is supposed to feel like for something like this but whatever this is, it feels really good.

Over the past 30 days, I've spoken at three different events and been a guest on three different podcasts. One of them is live now. Check out Collisions YYC with Tyler Chisholm here: E423 – Current & Critical – Leor Rotchild, Crafting Impactful Sustainability Strategies for Modern Events — Collisions YYC Tyler did such a great job with this and his podcast generally is terrific. Give it a listen.

My alma mater featured my book on their 2024 Alumni Book List - Alumni - Toronto Metropolitan University (torontomu.ca). The book appears immediately following Margaret Atwood's brand new book (swoon)!

Those that pre-ordered the book started receiving their copies this week and I couldn't be more thrilled to be tagged on social media whenever someone is excited to receive their copy.

Some excited recipients of How We Gather Matters who tagged me on social media.

Oh, and I just announced that the multi-talented Kenna Burima will be one of the guests joining me for my book launch party in Calgary on May 9th at the Calgary Central Library from 5-7pm. Kenna is a musician, songwriter, writer, speaker, producer and educator currently working on her own book How We Create, that looks at the ways we engage with creativity for?personal expression,?healing and liberation. She will be leading a sing-a-long that is guaranteed to be lots of fun.

If you're in Calgary on May 9th, I'd love to celebrate with you. Please reserve your tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/how-we-gather-matters-official-book-launch-tickets-878583716547

Exciting. See you there!

Congrats Leor!! If we could take all the knowledge and ideas in your head and encapsulate it we’d need 100 talks and 100 books. This is a good start! ??
