That momentous day has arrived with SpaceX

We have all been waiting for this momentous day when a civilian gets to experience space travel. May be to most this might not be so momentous but to grow up watching sci-fi all along, i am thrilled for this day when the human race gets to explore the needle point of space exploration as a civilian.

When reading or listening to Cosmos by Carl Sagan it has always been just a visual prediction of how this universe looks to our eyes but today is special because we now know that the vast expanses of this universe will soon be explored not just by astronauts but the curious ones who does not qualify as an astronaut as well.

It might be powered by the billionaires at the moment but we will soon find ways to make it affordable for the rest of us without those billions as well. The most impressive aspect is that SpaceX has just made an imagination a reality and soon we will have further ground to be broken or space to be broken.

It is quite funny how we want to experience the vast nothingness of this world trying to find something far far away.
