A moment of reflection… the power of innovation, inclusion, and support

A little over a year ago, I joined Commvault filled with anticipation and excitement. Within days of joining, we made a decision to pivot to a completely remote workforce to address the safety concerns for employees in response to COVID-19. And now, fast forward to a year later, we Vaulters have united – for each other, our families, our customers, and our communities.

I have to say, I can’t imagine being anywhere else over the past year. It has been a remarkable journey, and we are forever stronger. Through tears and triumphs, we are Commvault. Our global team has become even closer, and we work hard every day to connect and make the world feel just a little bit smaller. We’ve seen support and understanding shine through as we’ve all cared for one another, our families, our communities, and our customers. And thanks to video calls, we have gotten to know our families so much better. From kids waving during meetings to dogs barking at the trash truck, surprisingly, our world actually feels just a little bit more connected.

So, as we close our incredible celebration of Women’s History Month, I’m excited to share a fun video of our Vaulters reading from the children’s book, “A is for Awesome! 23 Iconic Women Who Changed the World.” This video extends our Vaulters Reading Series, a creative twist on how we have continued to create connections both within Commvault and with our families. And as we look to April, we continue to stay family-focused as we gear up for “Take Your Child to Work Day,” even if “work” is the kitchen table!

I know that one thing is for sure – with every obstacle lies an opportunity. This past year fueled us to get creative, inspire each other, and cultivate an inclusive environment that empowers us all. And our success shows the power of our progress – a true testament to the hard work and dedication of our global community.

Our future is bright, and I am so proud and thankful to be Vaulter! We are Commvault, we care, and we are just getting started.

Thank you Martha, for driving these creative initiatives. I can't believe how much we've accomplished in the past year... through highs and lows. These are great lessons for generations to come.. adaptation, perseverance, inclusivity.
