A moment for new beginnings

A moment for new beginnings

Even those long past our student days, autumn feels like a time for new beginnings. New mountains to climb, new days to enjoy, new things to discover and explore.

As we come back from our summer holidays, we have a choice. We can go back to our work routines or step out of our comfort zones and make new habits to maximize our personal growth.

Starting something — whether it is a commitment to your health and strength or testing a new idea at work — can be challenging.

First, you must convince yourself that you have the time. Time management plays a significant role when balancing family life and the usual day-to-day responsibilities at work. I speak from experience; it is possible to carve out time for things you genuinely care about.

For example, at one point in my life, I knew I needed to integrate more exercise into my routine. I kept telling myself that I did not have the time for a long time, but by organizing my time, I found that I did. Today, cycling is part of my routine, increasing my energy and productivity.

One of the biggest obstacles to overcome is the one in your head. Finding excuses or not fully committing yourself can derail your plans before you have even gotten started. As you know, I am a huge believer in positive thinking. The most important thing you can do for yourself is to put a stop to negative self-talk. You might want to let yourself start slowly, celebrate every win no matter the size, and keep at it.

In short, change is never easy but let us take the opportunity to reach for the stars as we progress through September, marking another one of those reset moments in our mental calendar. Whether you are starting a new job, want to excel in your current role, or want to focus on a healthier lifestyle in the next few months, stay motivated because you can do it!

I love this! I and have been going through this mental challenge of increasing positivity and adding healthy habits to my daily living. ?? It is so important for all of us. Thank you for this!

Thank you for inviting me to this Newsletter! Nicely put and also totally agree that autumns is the possibility for change! But you need to work hard for it, doesn't come easy! My old grandpather used to say: You have to work hard to get lucky! (with a german accent ;-)
