A Moment & Milestone for Chobani

6 years. What a wild, amazing, fulfilling ride. In reflecting, here's 6 words that come to mind.

  • Collaboration: Our Chobani family is 2,000+ people strong, but what makes me most excited is that our company was built around our people. Our designers. Our producers. Our scientists, our operators. Our engineers, our salespeople, etc. Fewer brokers & outside agencies, we’ve brought the talent & passion in-house, and we have a team to be reckoned with. 
  • Hungry: Love to say, so Chobani goes, so goes the category. Being a category leader means always questioning, always pushing for something new and better for our consumers. It means taking risks, but always doing what’s right—not what’s easy. At Chobani, fast is serious praise. By uniting supply, demand, and R&D, we can break down even more walls and become even more fast & agile. That means launching even more innovative products. And you’re going to love all the deliciousness we have in store for you in the coming months.
  • Excited: We’ve transitioned from a yogurt company to a food-focused wellness company. We took on the big guys and showed the world that access to delicious & nutritious food made from natural ingredients should be a right, not a privilege. And we’ve never been more focused on making that noble mission—better food for all people—a reality.
  • Inspired: We’ve always stood for more than what we make, and every day I’m inspired by our vision of making universal wellness happen sooner—from our people to the planet. As of this year, we’ve donated more than 50 million products, our team has volunteered more than 20,000 hours, and we’ve given more than 175 grants to causes we care about. The best part: we’re just getting started.
  • Grateful: Looking back on the past 6 years, there’s so much to be grateful for. So many people to be grateful for. Hamdi’s leadership has changed the future of food for good. He’s started a food revolution and has enlisted passionate, purpose-driven companies to join us in this crusade. We can go anywhere and do anything together. Now is our time.
  • Proud: From Chief Marketing & Brand Officer to Chief Demand Officer, and now to President, couldn’t be more proud to be on this journey, with this company & this amazingly talented team.

This is a moment and a milestone in our company’s history—we’re growing both our core yogurt business and our innovation. And in the coming months, you’ll be seeing us in new categories we’ve never entered before.
